How to use this tool
Many buyers discover the PCCC requirement too late, usually after payment or when the courier contacts them.
What this tool checks
- Whether the shipment appears to enter Korea from outside the country.
- Whether the order is for personal use.
- Whether the carrier is already asking for importer identification.
- Whether a local Korean warehouse lowers the risk.
How to read the result
If the tool says a PCCC is likely needed, prepare it early and make sure the recipient details match the customs information used for the order.
If the tool says it is probably unnecessary, still confirm the seller or courier flow because fulfillment routes sometimes change after checkout.
